OK, here’s something that I don’t quite understand. The pen is used to draw these scenarios that a reader can then enter by breathing on them. But it doesn’t have to be the original art that the reader breathes on? Can it be any copy? Could Sam Zabel make photocopies of the art and give it to someone with a similar outcome (transportation to another world). I realize I am taking this more literally than it requires, but I’m curious.

Printed copies work, yes. So photocopies would also work. Possibly even computer screens…? 😉
