I’m still trying to figure out why a 22-ton mass of Hentai tentacles is called “The Dreamers”. If these tentacles were truly sleeping, I would hate to see what they’re attached to!

It was kind of like working at a fish plant that specializes in fresh octopi…

OK, I’m going to start rambling (and be blasphemous) a bit… This is pure conjecture and not intended to offend.
So we know the Magic Pen creates reality from imagination. Miki had mentioned before that scripture may have been created/written with the Magic Pen as well. What if the Magic Pen was the parable for the Fruit of the Tree of Knowledge? That Humanity itself was created by a Cartoon God meant to follow a script and the Assistant Editor (in this case Lucifer) gave Eve the power to craft her own destiny. That is, he handed a character (Eve) the Magic Pen to write her own story…
I went off on this tangent when I was considering what the Dreamers really were. Could each tentacle be the embodiment of the ill-intentions of downtrodden fans who read Akio’s Doujinshi and wished harm to come to Miki’s character? In a way, Hentai is like a scripture of humanity’s misanthropy, so if Akio had started to key in on the pen’s true potential, he could have linked the reader’s belief to the script/art allowing them to become the agent of her destruction.
In which case, the main goal of our heroes should be getting the pen from Akio ASAP!

Wow – I love this! Now I’m fantasising about you doing some Magic Pen fan fic (or, dare I say it, a doujinshi?) based on that scenario.
